Setting up your booking page (providers)
Your own page at stables.co/p/your-name - its address, the services clients see on it, and the packages you sell.
Every service provider has a public booking page. Clients open it, pick a service and a time, and send you a request. The page is yours wherever you work - it does not belong to any one barn, so it comes with you.
Your address
Set it under Business Details, in the Public Booking URL field - that gives you stables.co/p/your-name. The copy button puts the whole address on your clipboard, ready to paste into a text or a profile.
Each address can only belong to one provider, so if the one you want is taken you will be asked for another.
Changing your address breaks your old links
The old address stops working immediately: links you have texted, QR codes already printed, and your Google results until they are re-indexed. Stables warns you before it happens. Pick one you can live with.
What clients see on it
Your page offers your services, which live under Services in two groups: Appointment Services are one-time services booked for a specific date and time, and Monthly Services are recurring subscriptions - clients subscribe online, then schedule their sessions afterwards.
Each service has a visibility:
- Public (recommended) - shown on your booking page. Anyone with the link can request it.
- Private (invoice only) - hidden from booking. You can still invoice clients for it directly.
Archived services are not offered either, so archiving is how you retire something without deleting its history.
What to set on a service
- Billing model - Per session, a one-time charge each time it is booked, or Monthly subscription, a recurring charge until it is cancelled.
- Price - per session, or per month for a subscription.
- Duration - how long the session runs. This is what carves your availability into bookable slots.
- Buffer After - a gap before the next booking can start, for packing up or driving on.
- Max Participants - 1 for one-to-one work. More makes it a group session, and the page shows clients how many spots are left.
- Description - what the service includes, in the client’s words.
Prepaid packages
Under Prepaid Packages you can sell credits up front - a package has a name (“10-Lesson Bundle”), a price, and the number of credits it grants. A client buys one from your booking page and the credits land in their balance; you apply a credit when you complete a session rather than at the time of booking.
Editing a package changes what is sold from then on. Credits already bought are not affected.
When people can book
The times on your page come straight from your availability, so that is the real control over what is bookable - see Setting your availability.
Requests also need a little notice: by default one has to be at least 12 hours ahead, and cannot be made further out than a few months.
Nothing is confirmed until you say so - requests arrive in your Appointments tab for you to approve, reschedule or decline. See Direct booking: how it works.
