How payments work on Stables

The big picture: invoices go out, clients pay by bank transfer or card, and funds arrive in your account for payout to your bank.

Money on Stables follows one simple path: a facility or provider sends an invoice, the client pays it online, and the funds land in the business’s Stables account, ready to transfer to their bank. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Paying

  • Clients pay by bank transfer (ACH) or credit/debit card — Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported too. Bank transfers typically take 3–5 business days to complete; card payments are immediate.
  • Clients can turn on auto-pay per facility or provider, so future invoices are charged automatically to their saved method.

Fees

Online payments carry a processing fee — lower for bank transfers than for cards. Businesses choose whether to absorb it or pass it to the client, in which case it appears as a “Processing Fee” line on the invoice. Details and current rates: Understanding fees.

Getting paid

Collected funds show in your Operating Balance under Finances → Accounts, and transfer to your linked bank in 1–3 business days with no transfer fees. One-time business verification is required before you can withdraw — see Connecting your Stripe account and Payouts: when and how you get paid.

Money out is tracked separately from invoices: facilities record vendor Bills, and owners can log personal expenses — see Recording an expense.
