What Ask StablesAI can do

Ask StablesAI is the Ask StablesAI tab in your navigation. What it can do depends on your account type.

For horse owners

Ask questions about care, feeding, training, and horse health, and get helpful, reliable answers. If you allow it in AI Context Settings, it can use your own horses’ data to personalize advice - you choose which horses to include.

For facilities

The facility assistant answers questions about your operation using your facility’s live data (when you allow it in AI Context Settings). For example:

• “When was each horse last dewormed?”
• “What did we bill this month, compared with last month?” and income and expenses for the same months.
• Pending booking requests, stall occupancy, care that is overdue or due soon, vaccinations due, customers with unpaid invoices.
• Upcoming arrivals and departures, service providers and their next visits, recent health updates, and your top customers and horses by revenue.

Actions it can take for you

Every action is shown to you first as a Confirm action card - nothing happens until you confirm, and you can only confirm what your staff role allows:

• Schedule care, or add an event to the calendar (including repeating ones).
• Delete a calendar event.
• Mark care complete.
• Add a horse, or add a client.
• Assign a stall.
• Invite a staff member.
• Add a charge.
• Contact Stables support for you.

What it can’t do

• Change your settings. It can tell you where a setting lives, but you change it yourself.
• Send emails or text messages to your clients. To email clients, use Announcements - see Email all your clients with Announcements. Stables doesn’t send texts to clients.
• Create a training program. It can point you to Care → Training Programs → New program → the AI tab, which drafts the whole program from your goal, and help you write the goal for the “What’s the goal?” box - see Creating a training program.
• Run test bookings, see screenshots, or click through the app for you.
• Read your Barn Chat conversations.

Conversations are saved as chats you can search, pin, archive, or delete.
