Paying an invoice

Pay from your Billing tab or the emailed invoice link, by bank transfer or card — and set up auto-pay if you like.

Invoices reach you by email with a link to view and pay — no account required. If you have a Stables account, they also appear in your Billing tab with your balance and history.

To pay

  1. Open the invoice from the email link or your Billing tab, and select Pay Now.
  2. Choose your payment method: bank transfer (ACH) or credit/debit card — Apple Pay and Google Pay are offered where available. If you have a saved method, you can use it or pick a different one.
  3. Confirm. Card payments complete immediately; bank transfers typically take 3–5 business days, showing as Processing (ACH) until they clear.

Invoice statuses you’ll see include Payment Due, Overdue, Processing (ACH), and Paid. If the sender passes on processing fees, the fee appears as its own line before the total.

Auto-pay

You can enable auto-pay per facility or provider — from the payment sheet’s “Enable auto-pay for future invoices” option or the Auto-Pay Settings screen. It applies only to invoices from that business, charged to your default payment method.

Bank vs. card trade-offs (fees, timing, verification): Payment methods: ACH vs. card.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I pay part of an invoice?
