At Pure Grit Horsemanship we offer patient, skills-based riding lessons for teens and adults. We welcome beginners and specialize in overcoming fear and building confidence through ground lessons, from grooming and hand walking to training and barefoot hoof care. We teach Western and beginner English, with riding from beginner lead line to advanced horsemanship. Contact us to schedule and grow your confidence on the ground and in the saddle.

Phase 1
60 min · $45.00
For beginners or facing fear around horses. Lessons begin with simple horse contact from grooming to hand walking.
Phase 2
60 min · $45.00
This second phase entails ground lessons in barefoot care basics and ground training in the arena.
Phase 3
60 min · $45.00
This phase starts beginner riding on lead line in the arena or off lead line at a walk. This phase works on proper seat, gaining direction, stop, go, and safety measures in the saddle. This is also in the arena.
Phase 4
60 min · $45.00
The final phase moves from beginner riding to walk/trot/canter as well as learning posting and two point. We will also work on in-saddle pin point training for better contact communication with the horse. At the end of this phase we will add in some trail riding.
