Selling a package to a client on account
Sell a lesson package to a client yourself: the lessons go in their credits now and the price goes on their invoice. Nothing is charged to a card.
A client doesn’t have to buy a package from your public page. You can sell one to them yourself and bill it with everything else they owe you: the lessons are added to their credits straight away, and the price goes on their account.
From the client
- Open the client under Clients.
- Go to Billing & payments, then Lesson credits.
- Select Sell a package, pick the package, and confirm.
In the mobile app, open the client, go to Billing, and under Lesson Credits tap Sell a package on account.
From the package
Selling the same package to several clients? On the Lessons tab, the Packages card has a Sell button on every package that’s on sale. Pick the client and confirm. The mobile app has the same button on its Packages list.
What happens
- The package’s lessons are added to the client’s credits now, exactly as a purchase from your page adds them: good for the package’s lesson types, and expiring when the package says.
- The price becomes a pending charge on the client’s account. If they have exactly one billing schedule running, it goes on their next invoice. Otherwise it waits on Pending Charges until you invoice it.
- Nothing is charged to a card, and the client isn’t emailed a receipt - the invoice is what they get.
Want clients to do this themselves? Tick Bill to account under How it can be paid on the package, and your clients can choose Bill my account when they buy it on your page. See Lesson packages and credits.
Who can sell a package
Selling a package puts money on a client’s account, so it takes permission to manage invoices. Staff without it don’t see the Sell buttons.
