Scheduling a lesson
Put a lesson on the calendar once or every week, with riders added now or filled in later.
On the Lessons tab, select New Lesson. It opens the same dialog the Calendar uses, already set to Lesson, so a lesson is the same thing whichever page you started from.
Creating one
- Pick the Lesson type. The type names the lesson and sets its length - you can rename it (say “Group Barrel Lesson” under a “Group Lesson” type) and change the end time.
- Set the date and time. A new lesson starts on the next full hour by default.
- Set the Instructor if it differs from the lesson type’s default.
- Add riders now, or leave it empty and fill it later. You can’t add more riders than the type holds.
- To repeat it, set the repeat rule - Weekly on that weekday is the usual choice - and say when it ends: Never, On a date, or After a number of times.
- Save. The new lesson opens on its Riders card, since adding riders is usually the next thing to do.
The next two weeks at a glance
The Lessons tab lists the next two weeks of lessons grouped by day, soonest first. Select View the next two weeks to reach four. Every row says how full it is:
- Open - nobody in it yet.
- Booked - riders in it, and room for more.
- Full - no room left.
- Completed - taught and billed.
Filter the list by All, Open, Booked or Full - each pill carries its own count. Add rider on a row opens the lesson straight onto its client picker.
Instructors see their own lessons
A staff member with the riding instructor role, and no facility-wide access, sees only the lessons they are assigned to teach — and no lesson types, packages or booking link.
