Creating care tasks

Care

Add one-time care - for one horse or many - with a care type, date, time slots, and an assignee.

To add care

  1. In the Care tab, select Add Care.
  2. Choose one or more horses.
  3. Pick a care type - or choose Custom and name your own.
  4. Set the date and one or more time slots. With multiple time slots, each slot can have its own assignee.
  5. Assign a staff member or service provider (optional), and add instructions that apply to all occurrences.
  6. Select Create Care Event.

The event lands in the queue under its due date. To make it repeat, check Repeat — that turns it into a care plan; see Creating care plans.

Adding care for many horses at once

Selecting multiple horses creates a care event for each one in a single step — useful for barn-wide tasks like vaccinations or farrier days.
