Creating care plans
Care plans generate recurring care events automatically — daily feedings, six-week farrier cycles, annual vaccinations.
Care plans automatically schedule recurring care. Create one from Care Plans → Add Care Plan, or by checking Repeat while adding care.
Recurrence options
- Repeat every N days, weeks, months, or years - weekly plans pick the days of the week, monthly plans the day of the month.
- End the plan never, on a date, or after a number of occurrences. A live preview shows how many events will be created.
Managing plans
Plans are grouped by care category, with Daily Feedings and Paused shown separately. Each plan card shows the horse, frequency, time, and assignee. From a plan’s menu you can Edit, Pause (no new events are created until resumed), or Remove Plan - removing stops future events and clears upcoming incomplete ones, while completed history stays.
Horse owners can also create personal care plans from their horse’s page - a care type, a frequency in days, and a first due date - for reminders they manage themselves.
