Cancellations and no-shows
How either side cancels an appointment, what happens to payment holds, and how no-shows appear.
Cancelling as a client
From My Appointments (or your emailed appointment link), select Cancel appointment. You can add an optional reason for the provider. Cancelling can’t be undone — you’d simply book again. If your appointment had a payment authorization hold, the hold on your card is released.
Cancelling as a provider
Open the appointment and select Cancel, choosing a reason (schedule conflict, emergency, weather conditions, illness, or other). The customer is notified, and the reason is recorded on the appointment.
No-shows
A missed appointment can be recorded as No Show, which appears as a status on the provider’s appointment list among past appointments.
Cancellation fees
Stables doesn’t impose cancellation fees. Any cancellation policy is between you and your provider or facility — agree on it directly.
