Sticky Limb Stables is a woman- and veteran-owned equestrian facility just north of Ludowici, Georgia, approximately 20 minutes west of Hinesville and Fort Stewart. Opened in April 2015 by Christine and Thomas Fisher, the farm offers affordable horse boarding, riding instruction, guided trail rides, and horse experiences for parties and special occasions. Horse Boarding & Care Pasture boarding includes continuous access to hay and water, with feed provided up to twice daily. Boarders have use of two riding arenas, a round pen, and a concrete wash rack, along with limited trailer parking. Owners can supply prepackaged supplements or medications to be added to feed at no extra charge. Additional services include horse exercising and hauling for a fee, plus regularly scheduled visits from farrier, equine dentistry, and chiropractic providers. An owner-accessible recordkeeping app helps boarders stay informed about their horses’ care and activities. Riding Lessons Lessons at Sticky Limb Stables go beyond time in the saddle, helping students develop the handling and everyday care skills that come with horse ownership. Instruction focuses on basic Western riding and barrel racing, with some English instruction available upon request. Riders of all ages and experience levels can choose private instruction or small-group lessons with up to three participants. Private sessions offer individual attention for beginners, younger or less-confident riders, and students working toward specific goals. All lessons are scheduled by appointment. Guided Trail Rides Explore the surrounding countryside on an hour-long guided ride suited to beginners and experienced riders alike. Routes typically follow a private road and wooded trails, with adjustments made for weather or hunting season. Experienced trail horses and knowledgeable guides accompany each outing, and group reservations are welcome. Advance booking is required. Pony Parties & Horse Photo Sessions Sticky Limb Stables brings handled pony and horse rides to birthdays, church gatherings, and other events, tailoring activities to the group’s ages and interests. Horses and ponies are also available for wedding, family, and themed photo sessions, with photography arranged separately by the customer. Contact the farm for current pricing and availability.
